Named after my children’s favorite drink request when they were young (warm hot chocolate), WHC is my space for sharing my ever-increasing crafting habit, home décor ideas, children’s activities and my love of travel and photography. As a full-time designer, mom and wife, my life is pretty hectic. My blog is my serene space where I showcase the creative aspects of my life in a simple and (hopefully) inspiring way.

I post here two to three times a week, and you can also find me on Modern Parents, Messy Kids, where I contribute to a home décor DIY series on a monthly basis.

We live in the Dallas / Fort Worth area, so I also share ideas about the many things to do with children in the metroplex.

Here are some of my most popular posts:

    Hi Julee,

I am COO of a start-up called blink blink, we design creative circuit kits for kids that provide the materials to get them started with the building blocks of wearable technology and learning how to create with tech. Just spent some time looking through your site, I absolutely love it! Would you be interested in discussing a collaboration with blink blink?
